The GreenYard can now offer farmers a better deal with up to forty percent returns on their wind energy project. Presently this financing opportunity is limited to those farmers with permitted Planning permission, good access, viable grid connection capacity, legal ownership of site and an independent site feasibility report or wind measurement. The latter can be undertaken by the GreenYard as part of assessing the project for the investors. Returns can range from £15,000 per annum for a 50kW project through to £40,000 per annum for a 225kW wind turbine project and only new equipment is used.
